How do I apply a coupon/discount for a deal?

The coupon code is typically entered during check out. Once you've entered the correct coupon code, the discount or bonus will be shown. For some merchants, such as Overstock, it is a link you must follow before the discount will show up at checkout.

Why can't I open any links?

Some software has probably changed settings on your computer to block ad/banner servers from showing. You will need to edit your hosts file to fix this.

Once you locate the hosts file, open it up and remove any lines with the following on them:

What is MIR and AR?

MIR stands for Mail In Rebate which is a form you must print, fill out and mail to get your rebate.

AR stands for After Rebate.

What do I need to know about mail in rebates?

Mail in rebates are usually not included with your shipped item. You must go to the merchant's product page and find the link for it. All rebates have expirations so be sure to fill the form out right away. Also, read the rebate details carefully to include everything needed. Rebates are handled by different processing centers. It may take as little as 4 weeks or as long as 14 weeks to get your rebate check. Patience is key here.

Why is my final price more/less than what you state?

It can be any number of reasons. Prices can go up or drop down as time passes. A promotion may have ended early. Shipping might have been more depending on your location. Sales tax might have been charged for your state.
